it's finally 2008!!
my goals for 2008 are to:
a. read times magazine two hours a week
b. watch American movies without subtitles
c. listen to English songs everyday
d. go to an English-speaking country during summer break
e. study harder
f. get fit, exercise 3 times a week
I hope by the end of 2008, I'll be healthier and will have acadamic improvements
It was my cousin's birthday on 1/1, mine was on 1/2.
I went to her birthday party, it was her 21st, so it was a big one!!
there were 25 people at the party.
the dress up code was "glamorous white"
everyone had to wear at least one piece of white clothing,
and had to look glamorous, like stars walking through the red carpet.
We had two pool tables, a ktv room, a mua-jung room, and a big dining hall for us to party.
I met lots of people, and made new friends.
People were friendly.
My cousin and I are going to see "feet of flame" next weekend.
I'm looking forward to it
It's always been a wish of mine to watch feet of flame live.
I'm sure it'll be a good show.

It's X'mas time
I don't really know why 25th of October is not a public holiday anymore
but I DO know that they cannot cut the fun out just because we can't take the day off!
my cousin, some of our friends and I went bowling on X'mas night.
I didn't play though, just sit there and watch them play
I was too tired and hungry.
after bowling, one of the guys and I went shopping.
he is Taiwanese but studies in New Zealand.
so I showed him some cool shopping places.
he bought a top. he was satisfied.
the other people chilled at a cafe called PS.
they told me panini and fries were nice
then we went off to another bar called illy
it's downstair my place
I like the drinks there
and they have nice sandwitches as well
costing me $140 a plate.
We chatted 'til 11pm
It was nice having family and friends gathering together on x'mas day.

My mom subscribed the magazine "time" for me few days ago
I think it'll be very helpful
